A town hall meeting and luncheon sponsored by the Archdiocese will be held at Ss. Simon and Jude on April 30. To accommodate the meeting, the mass will start at 11 a.m., instead of the regularly scheduled time. Immediately after mass, the meeting will start in the Fr. Niekarz hall. We encourage every parishioner to attend this meeting. A luncheon will be served. At the parish council meeting, the Archdiocese representative passed out index cards on which to write questions to submit for the town hall meeting. This is an opportunity for you to submit your questions. It would be helpful to have the questions in advance; please write the question(s) you wish to submit and leave the card at the office or give it to a parish council member. We will compile the questions and forward them to the archdiocese representative. Questions will also be answered at the meeting. Join us, the archdiocese, and the leadership of our parish families for and overview of what is going on in our parish.
Thank you for attending our parish council meeting on March 16. It was a nice opportunity for the parishioners to put names to faces and to hear directly from the leaders of the parish of families and the Archdiocese. You are welcome to attend the April 20th parish council meeting and all future meetings; we encourage attendance. Our meetings are the 3rd Thursday of the month from September - May. If you have something that6 you would like to add to the agenda, please contact the office and provide a written request a minimum of 5 days prior so that it can be added to the meeting. We are also in need of additional parish council members. If you would like to volunteer, please leave your name and contact information at the office. Parish council members are very important for the administration and ongoing activities of our church. If you are interested, but not sure, reach out to one of our parish council members for more information. Please feel free to reach out with questions and concerns, and bring your ideas to the parish council. Together, we are Ss. Simon and Jude strong.
